Website Launch – gillianbestpowell.com
Yesterday, to celebrate the life of my mother Gillian Best Powell, I launched her updated website on what would have been her 62nd birthday. It has been just over a year since her sudden passing and I wanted to create a positive and colourful way to share her memory.
I have documented, photographed and uploaded many of her artworks and memories. Parts of the site are still in development, but I have created a multiple gallery of her artworks named “Mum’s Planchest” (a real-life planchest full of screenprints, drawings and paintings), as well as more information on her commissions and publications she was featured in.
We have also started a shop page! All of her artworks are available to buy and we will be adding more over time. You can search via size, colour, style, if it is signed and framed or unframed.
